Attorney Polanco is a distinguished attorney, educator, and public policy expert whose career spans leadership in legal education, government, and media. As President and CEO of the Council on Legal Education Opportunity, Inc. (CLEO), he expanded a nationally recognized pipeline to the legal profession, impacting thousands of future attorneys. Today, he brings the same commitment to excellence to his clients at Polanco Law.

An accomplished academic, Attorney Polanco serves as an assistant professor at the University of Mount Saint Vincent and on the faculty of Borough of Manhattan Community College (CUNY), teaching Business Law, Human Resources Strategy, and Latin American History. He holds a Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from Fordham University, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University at Albany. He is currently completing advanced graduate studies in History at SUNY Cortland.

Mr. Polanco’s distinguished public service record includes leadership roles as Bronx Commissioner and President of the New York City Board of Elections, where he led significant electoral reforms. His insights are regularly sought by leading media outlets including CBS New York, Univision, PIX11 News, and NY1.

A native New Yorker raised in the Bronx, J.C. Polanco remains deeply committed to service, leadership, and excellence.

Fun Fact: Before his legal career, Mr. Polanco served as a New York Yankees batboy during the 1994 and 1995 seasons—reflecting a lifelong bond with the spirit of New York.
